Time and time again it’s been proven that diets by themselves don’t work. Countless people lose weight on fad diets but a high percentage return to or exceed their pre diet weight within months or over the years.

To lose weight and keep it off, exercise is the key lifestyle change that can help you work towards a healthy target weight and allow you keep excess weight off for life.

For women in particular, training with some form of weights is proven to promote lean muscle mass and reduce fat.

Importantly, I encourage clients to judge their ‘fighting weight’ by how they feel in their clothes and in themselves rather than concentrating on the scales.
